Fake Locations

Fake Locations is an app that lets you play hilarious jokes on your friends and family by sharing completely fake locations via WhatsApp. With this app, you can make it look like you're anywhere on the planet, no matter what the coordinates are.

The first thing you have to do is to follow the app's instructions which requires special permissions to allow false locations. After activating this option from your smartphone settings menu, you can start using Fake Locations. To make it look like you're anywhere on the planet, you have two options: enter the name of the city or country where you want to be, or manually indicate the exact position on the map.

Once you have your location all set up, you can open WhatsApp to see if your location really changed. From the 'send location' option, you can see if you're located on the selected street and you can send your contact the false location either as a joke or to avoid giving your exact location.

Fake Locations can also be used to travel virtually or plan a future trip. You can set your location to any city in the world and then use Google Maps to discover and explore your options for restaurants, stores, buildings, or other places of interest around your location. Discover what's 'around you' and pull one over on your friends by placing yourself anywhere in the world.
